Day 1: Dali Xizhou and Zhoucheng, Erhai Cruise (L)

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel (located within Dali Ancient Town) and transported to the designated meeting point.

(Occasionally, Dali Ancient Town restricts vehicle access to certain areas, in which case a meeting point will be arranged.)

The journey then continues to Xizhou to explore traditional Bai-style architectural courtyards and immerse in the unique culture of the local Bai minority. Following this, a visit to Zhoucheng Village, renowned as the “Home of the Bai ethnic minority Tie-Dye culture,” offers a hands-on experience of the tie-dye tradition.

After lunch, guests will embark on a cruise on Erhai Lake to Jinsuo Island, a local cormorant fishing village. Enjoy the scenic views of the lush Cangshan Mountain Range and the Three Pagodas from a distance, along with the sight of numerous birds soaring over the lake. Subsequently, the guide will assist with hotel check-in (if not using our hotel, the driver will drop guests off at the south gate of Dali Ancient Town) and guests can enjoy a leisurely evening in the town.

Day 2: Lijiang Black Dragon Pool, Dongba Museum, Yuhu Village, and Lijiang Ancient Town (B, L)

Following breakfast, the driver will transport guests to Lijiang to visit the Black Dragon Pool. Here, guests can admire a stunning view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from afar before proceeding to the Dongba Museum to delve into Naxi minority culture. Next, guests will be driven to Yuhu Village, situated in the southern valley with a panoramic view of the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit the museum dedicated to Joseph Rock, an explorer and biologist who resided in the area in the early 20th century. Guests then have the chance to participate in a guided trek along the mountain slopes. Afterwards, the driver will return guests to Lijiang Ancient Town, where the tour concludes.

The two-day Dali & Lijiang tour highlights unique attractions from Dali to Lijiang, with dependable transportation provided throughout the journey.
