The term Barong lacks a clear definition, but it is also known as Banaspati Raja (King of the Jungle). The classic form is Barong Keket, which doesn’t resemble any specific animal. There are also two other forms: Barong Berutuk (young men wrapped in banana leaves with masks) and Barong Landung (two giant puppets that perform dialogues and sing folk songs).

Following this, the journey continues to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where you can stroll through this protected jungle home to hundreds of macaques. The next stop is the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terrace, where you can admire the famous, sculpted rice paddies perched on a cliffside. The highlight of the journey is the highlands of Kintamani.
Here, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the magnificent Lake and Mount Batur. A delicious lunch at a restaurant with this stunning backdrop is included.
