Known as “the great wall of India,” it boasts the second-largest wall in the world. Afterwards, visit the Jain Temple in Ranakpur. It is believed that the temple was built in the 15th century under the guidance of Seth Dharna Shah, a Jainism follower, with the assistance of Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar, who requested the temple be named after him. There are four entrances to the main chamber where the idol of Adinath is placed. The temple also features five pillars, each with idols of various Tirthankaras. The central pillar holds an idol of Adinath. After exploring the temple, return to Udaipur and be dropped off at your hotel.

Same Day Chittorgarh Trip From Udaipur
City Palace of Udaipur - Pick up from hotel, then drive to Chittor, or Chittaurgarh, a city and municipality in Rajasthan, western India. Founded by Bappa Rawal in the 8th century, Chittaurgarh is situated at an elevation of 408 meters (1339 feet) above sea level, on the banks of the Gambhiri and Berach rivers. Mirabai, a 16th-century poet, and Rani Padmini hail from Chittaurgarh.
The route to Chittaurgarh Fort is a winding road protected by seven fortified gateways. In 1534, the fort was besieged by the Sultan of Gujarat. In 1568, it was again the site of conflict during a four-month siege by Mughal forces under Akbar, who eventually captured the fortress. Chittaurgarh Fort sits atop a rocky hill, 151 meters (495 feet) high and 4828 meters (3 miles) long. It is one of India’s largest fortresses and dominates the city’s skyline, symbolizing local pride and loyalty.
