Udawalawe National Park is a national park on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.

Exciting experience! - Gimhana was an outstanding tour guide! We had an unforgettable day at Udawalawe National Park and were lucky to see so many elephants—including a baby just a few weeks old! The park itself is stunning, and Gimhana’s positivity, deep knowledge, and clear passion and respect for the wildlife made the experience even more special.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Safari Wonderland - My wife and I did the 4 hour private safari with Gimhana. We saw many elephant, croc, macaque, birds of all sorts, lizards, deer, boar, water buffalo. Gimhana clearly has a passion for wild life. He was able to navigate the park to find the animals and tell us about the animals and answer every question we had. Best value for a private tour! We had so much fun thanks again Gimhana!

Very good safari tour - The guide knew all the secret spots of the park. We saw, elephants with babies, crocodiles, lizards, birds, a lot of peacocks and deer. He also took us to his friends bungalow and showed us an owl

Incredible elephant safari - We had such an amazing safari. The driver picked us up half an hour early and was happy to continue on safari until we were ready to leave after about 4 hours. Unlike other safaris ive been on, it was nice to relax and enjoy it and not worry about the time. The driver was informative and drove very well.
We had amazing elephant sightings, including some sightings where it was just our jeep, and multiple babies. We saw 43 elephants in total!

Beautiful afternoon safari! - Good communication before the safari started via whatsapp. The safari was very nice, he gave us the opportunity to see a lot of animals such as elephants and buffalos. Even took more time to give us a good view of the sunset at the lake! Thanks!

Such a great experience! - We booked a private safari tour and were absolutely thrilled! Our guide was very accommodating and organized a transfer for us, which picked us up in Ella and took us to the next stop after the tour. He took a lot of time for us and showed us many
animals that we would otherwise not have seen at first. It was a great experience and we can highly recommend the tour and our guide

Lots of animals & great guide! - Gimhana was a great guide! He picked us up in time at our hotel, really did his all to show us all animals. He also gave lots of interesting information about the animals. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, buffalos, birds, lizards, and more. I loved this and highly recommend it!
