Then, embark on the eagerly anticipated one-day gorilla adventure from Kigali, Rwanda, traveling northwest to the Uganda border, which takes approximately three hours. There will be a brief stop at the border for customs clearance before continuing to the Mgahinga National Park headquarters. An optional stop in Kisoro for a cup of coffee is available before proceeding to meet the guides for the day. After completing park formalities, embark on a breathtaking mountain tracking adventure. Upon spotting the gorillas, spend time observing these gentle giants, an extraordinary and thrilling experience that will create lasting memories. The trek is moderately strenuous, lasting up to two hours or less at a relatively high altitude. Enjoy taking photographs before descending back to the park office to receive certificates. Afterwards, return to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon.
