Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - On the first day of the gorilla flying safaris in Uganda, the operator will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kampala and drive you to Entebbe International Airport to catch a charter flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on the gorilla group booked and the lodge, you will land at either Kisoro or Kihihi Airstrips, where your driver/guide will be ready to transfer you to the Impenetrable Forest for an overnight stay at either Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Buhoma Community “The Haven Lodge,” or Nkuringo Gorilla Camp Broadbill Forest Camp for mid-range options. Meal plan includes lunch and dinner.

Gorilla Flying Safaris in Uganda – Ultimate Gorilla Encounter

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After an early breakfast, you will attend a briefing on the do’s and don’ts when encountering the rare Mountain Gorillas. Following this, you will embark on a real experience in the impenetrable forest. It is a challenging activity as it involves hikes, and for those who may find it difficult, it is recommended to hire porters to assist during the gorilla trekking experience in the jungle. The trail can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla groups. You will return to your lodge to refresh and relax, with another overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Buhoma Community “The Haven Lodge,” or Nkuringo Gorilla Camp Broadbill Forest Camp for mid-range options.

Day 3: Fly Back to Entebbe International Airport

Entebbe - As the 3-day gorilla flying safari in Uganda concludes, after breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for a charter flight back to Entebbe.
