Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls NP with a detour for rhino tracking at Zziwa.

Murchison Falls National Park - Ideally, your flight will arrive early in Entebbe. Your guide/driver will meet you at Entebbe Airport and proceed to Murchison Falls. The park’s highlights include the thunderous rapids of the Murchison, the expansive plains of Uganda’s largest National Park, where you can spot lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. You’ll also be captivated by the abundance of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the 450 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thigh hornbill, and Goliath heron. On the way, stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big 5 experience with an hour of rhino tracking. Another stop will be in Masindi for lunch. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Murchison Falls National Park - After an early breakfast, explore the Northern section of Murchison, known for its rich savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography opportunities with elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, and possibly leopards, along with a variety of bird species. Return to your accommodation for lunch, then embark on a boat trip to the base of the falls. This trip is often considered the highlight of the safari at Murchison Falls, as it brings you close to the water-dwelling animals. Cruise past large hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds along the north bank on your way to the majestic waterfalls. You’ll have the chance to take countless photos, so bring your camera. If you wish, you can also hike to the top of the falls. The hike is challenging, but the exhilaration upon reaching the top is unforgettable. Only skip it if absolutely necessary! Return to your accommodation afterward.

Entebbe - Enjoy breakfast, then drive to the top of the falls (if you didn’t hike) to take in the breathtaking view, and then depart for Kampala to connect to Entebbe Airport.
