Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Located in the Kanungu district of Southwestern Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a mountainous region renowned for its biodiversity. Situated 512 km from Kampala city center, it boasts one of Uganda’s richest ecosystems. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the park’s many wonders, including some of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, 200 tree species, 120 frog species, 220 butterfly species, and 348 bird species. The park is especially famous for its gorillas, offering a unique opportunity to observe these close relatives of humans in their natural environment.
Guests will be picked up from their hotel by our driver after breakfast. The journey begins with a stop in Masaka at the Equator for memorable photos and snacks. The trip continues to the Igongo Cultural Village to explore the Ankole Museum in Mbarara. Lunch will be served at Agip Motel before proceeding to Bwindi. Upon arrival, guests will check in at their hotel or lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax in preparation for the next day’s safari.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - After breakfast, guests will be picked up by our driver at approximately 6:30 am to begin the gorilla trek. A porter will be available to carry luggage if desired. Participants must be physically fit and over 15 years old to join the trek. It may take up to 6 hours to spot the gorillas, though some may be fortunate to see them shortly after entering the forest. Upon encountering the gorillas, a distance of 7 meters must be maintained. Visitors are permitted one hour with the gorillas, with one hour allocated per gorilla group each day.

Uganda Equator - Visitors will have the opportunity to stop at the equator for photographs.
Igongo Cultural Centre - This cultural center highlights Ankole culture, offering insights into the customs and traditions of the Ankole people of western Uganda. Visitors can also purchase souvenirs.
