A Tour I will never forget in my life - My recent 10-day tour of Uganda with Inspire Africa Safaris was an incredible journey that exceeded my expectations in every way. Inspire Africa Safaris curated an itinerary that highlighted the best of this beautiful country, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival in Kampala, I was greeted by our friendly guide from Inspire Africa Safaris, who immediately set a positive tone for the trip. After a brief orientation, we embarked on a city tour, visiting the bustling markets, historical sites, and the iconic Uganda Museum. The day ended with a delicious dinner featuring local cuisine, providing a great introduction to Ugandan culture. The following morning, we set off for Murchison Falls National Park. The drive took us through beautiful rural landscapes, and our guide shared fascinating insights about the local communities we passed. Once we arrived, the park’s grandeur took my breath away. Our accommodations were comfortable, with stunning views of the Nile. On our first day in the park, we went on a safari drive, where we spotted elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species. The highlight was the boat cruise on the Nile, where we got up close to hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun. Witnessing the majestic Murchison Falls was exhilarating; the power of the water cascading through the narrow gorge was awe-inspiring. After Murchison, we traveled to Kibale National Park, famous for its chimpanzee tracking. The anticipation built as we set out early in the morning, guided by knowledgeable park rangers. The trek through the lush rainforest was enchanting, filled with sounds of wildlife. When we finally encountered a troop of chimpanzees, it was a heartwarming experience. Observing them interact in their natural habitat was a moment I will cherish forever. The following day included a visit to a local community, where we engaged in a traditional cooking class and learned about local customs. The warmth of the people and their eagerness to share their culture added a rich layer to our journey. Next, we headed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems. Our game drives yielded sightings of lions, elephants, and a myriad of bird species. One unforgettable moment was during a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where we were surrounded by wildlife. The sunset views were stunning, casting a golden hue over the water. The highlight of Queen Elizabeth was the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Our guide expertly navigated us to the area, and we were fortunate to see these magnificent creatures lounging in the branches of fig trees. No trip to Uganda would be complete without gorilla trekking, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was the pinnacle of our adventure. The trek was physically challenging but incredibly rewarding. Our guides were exceptional, ensuring our safety and enhancing our understanding of the gorillas’ behavior. When we finally encountered a family of mountain gorillas, all the effort was worth it. Standing just a few meters away from these gentle giants was surreal. The hour we spent observing them was emotional; their playful interactions and gentle demeanor were captivating. After the trek, we spent a night near Lake Bunyonyi, where we relaxed and reflected on our incredible journey. The peaceful atmosphere of the lake provided a perfect backdrop for unwinding. On our final day, we returned to Kampala, filled with unforgettable memories and newfound knowledge about Uganda’s wildlife and culture. Our guide facilitated last-minute shopping for souvenirs, allowing us to bring a piece of Uganda back home. The farewell dinner was a fitting end to a remarkable journey, filled with laughter and shared stories. Throughout the tour, the accommodations provided by Inspire Africa Safaris were consistently excellent. Each lodge and campsite was well-selected, offering comfort and a connection to nature. The logistics of the trip were seamless; transportation was comfortable, and our guide’s expertise made navigation effortless. Our guide was a true gem. His passion for Uganda and extensive knowledge enriched our experience significantly. He was attentive, accommodating, and always ready to share interesting facts about the wildlife and culture. His enthusiasm made each day more enjoyable and engaging. In conclusion, my 10-day tour with Inspire Africa Safaris was a life-changing experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in exploring Uganda. The combination of wildlife encounters, cultural immersion, and breathtaking landscapes made this journey truly special. Inspire Africa Safaris delivered a well-organized and enriching adventure, showcasing the beauty of Uganda in a meaningful way. 5 Stars - Richard helped plan a once in a lifetime family trip to visit gorillas and golden monkeys. He coordinated transportation accommodations and tour. We had a visa issue that Richard helped resolve - miraculously. Our guide - Martin was equally amazing for the gorilla tours. Our 80+ yr old mother was with us. They made sure she was taken care of and safe for the hiking. We highly recommend this group. Give stars. ⭐️

Batwa community experience at Buhoma trailhead - Ever a lifetime to watch Gorillas in the wild, something I found more interesting is the the Batwa culture experience. Many years ago these great apes lived together in the wild until of recent when they were separated. Until now, pygmies Batwa, live a distinctive life to human, i.e. ther culture is wild related Very interesting and painful culture. Always ask your trip organizer to include it on your package. Or contact local tour guide ANGEL NIWAMANYA at Buhoma gate, he has excellent information about the Forest and Batwa

Must do, must see bucket list item with Inspire African Safari's ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ - My 3-Day Gorilla Trek adventure with Inspire African Safari's began long before i arrived in Uganda. From the moment i messaged Richard online, their service and pricing was second to non. I had reached out to three tour companies to try and organise a tailored tour and found the service provided by IAS to be miles above the rest. Richard makes himself available 24/7 to his clients. While i frantically tried to sort out my East African Visa, Richard provided guidance and assurance and took care of the trip details so i didn't have to worry, responding to me even on Christmas Day. From pick up at my hotel in Entebbe, to the most enjoyable journey down to the forrest at Bwindi which i shared with two amazing guides in Isaac and Alex, i could not have had a better experience. The highlight of course was the trek to see the Gorillas. This could never disappoint any traveller. Simply amazing and very well organised. Being so close to a Silverback and seeing their raw power really sends chills down your back . My accomodation was well above my budget expectations. I could not help but think as i sat there in camp deep in the heart of Africa with no internet, no distractions and no noise, that this is how life was meant to be. Us as one with nature. I was hesotant to go on the Batwa Cultural experience. I was assured by the organised guide that it would be hassle free. This made the whole experience very pleasurable for me and i was more than happy to leave a small donation to the Batwa people. Well worth the visit. At the end of the trip, Richard arranged for me to be dropoed off in Kigali, Rwanda. Another personal touch that i was grateful for so that i didn't have to make the 10hr drive back to Entebbe Uganda has won my heart in so many ways. I just want to thank Inspire African Safari's for allowing me to have this bucket list experience. Very few tour operators offer this kind of personal service and i know for me it made all the difference. You and your team inspire me to see more of Africa and i will be sure to bring my family back with me to Uganda in 2024. Keep providing those extra little touches, they make a world of difference to a traveller ️

The dream gorilla Experience - This safari is everyone's dream, I couldn't believe my self infront of the giant silverback 🦍 gorilla, the whole experience was amazing from start to finish and most importantly my guide was amazing, the silverback was just watching us and the juvenile made fun of us he was waiting to see anyone who dares to touch the baby, this is a trip worthy every dollar despite the permit being abit expensive 700 in Uganda by government but it's worth more than Rwanda which sells x2 the price in Uganda, after I secured my permit Richard had to reserve everything for me and I paid the rest on arrival. I loved the Van with a full time deep freezer to take cold water whenever needed, it was 3 days of super experience and if your looking for a gorilla experience here you goo.

Tracking gorillas: a day in hell - During my organized trip to Uganda, I went to gorilla tracking. Our group of 16 people has been divided into 2 groups of 8 people: 1 group that worked very well and my group with 2 people who had some difficulties. So we were supposed to have an easier walk to join our gorilla family called "Happy". It was quite the opposite. We finally left at 10:15. A tracking between 9 and 12 km, which lasted 7h30 up and down slopes of 70 to 80%, in the slough, in the rain, crossing 4 streams. Someone in the group will tell us that the step corresponded to an elevation gain of 229 floors. Luckily we had porters, our saviors. Of course I had my walking sticks but my porter helped me with the descents and climbs. He was skinny and yet had incredible strength. I also rented gardening gloves. I had the chance to see the gorilla family for about 10 minutes in total, far from the expected time, because the group did not stay in place. At one point the dominant male rushed towards me and stopped at 3 or 4 meters (he did not respect the safety distance of 8 meters 😉) hitting his chest. I backed away and sought cover behind the tracker that was next door, believing that my last hour had arrived 😢. Then the group left. My photos with my phone, in the rain, are missed but images are etched in my memory. Two members of the group fell apart and asked to be carried ($300). But we were lucky because no one was hurt! You really have to have a good physical condition and a good rain cape because very quickly, I was soaked from head to toe. Also provide a surgical mask.
