Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi forest
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Following breakfast at your hotel, our guide will collect you and commence the journey from Entebbe\Kampala by road, heading southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Pause for an educational talk and an excellent photo opportunity at the Equator, then proceed to the town of Mbarara for lunch. Continue past the verdant hills adorned with Banana and Tea plantations before arriving at the National Park.
Gorilla Trekking safari
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After an early breakfast and with your lunch packed, you will head to the Park headquarters for a briefing by park officials. Accompanied by your guides, you will navigate through dense thickets and underbrush to locate the Gorillas, which may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. The rugged, densely forested area is crisscrossed with paths made by animals, making it accessible to visitors. Once the gorillas are found, you will have 1 hour to engage in photography and observation as they engage in their natural behaviors such as playing, feeding, and grooming.
Transfer back to Kampala
Kampala - You will set off early in the morning after breakfast for your return trip to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport, in time for your evening departure flights. This day is set aside for those with evening departures via Entebbe International Airport or for arranging an additional overnight stay in either Kampala or Entebbe. Should you require an additional night’s stay, please inform us ahead of time.
