This journey offers the opportunity to observe Uganda’s mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Bwindi is renowned for its diverse wildlife, particularly the mountain gorillas, and is home to half of the world’s remaining population. These gorillas reside in family groups across four sectors: Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija, and Buhoma. The tour begins and concludes in Rwanda, crossing the Cyanika border into southwestern Uganda. Established in 1993, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was designated to protect the critically endangered mountain gorillas.
