Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Guests will be picked up from Musanze town after breakfast and driven to northern Rwanda to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Here, they can enjoy a delicious lake fish lunch before heading to the viewpoint, where they can admire the stunning scenery of the two lakes and the majestic Five Volcanic Mountains extending to the Congo DRC borders. The three countries—Rwanda, Uganda, and Congo DRC—converge at the tip of the Sabyinyo peak. Capture beautiful photos and proceed to the Cyanika border to cross into Uganda. Continue through Kisoro town and arrive at Bwindi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo - Visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Enjoy a delicious lake fish lunch here and proceed to the viewpoint to admire the breathtaking scenery.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Return to Kigali

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After an early breakfast, guests will walk to the park headquarters for a briefing on the guidelines for gorilla tracking. They will then proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking can take between 2 to 8 hours, or even a full day, to encounter the gorillas. However, visitors will have the opportunity to spend at least an hour with these magnificent apes. It is recommended to carry a packed lunch, which will be provided, as the duration to encounter the mountain gorillas is unpredictable. Later, guests will head to the Katuna border to cross back into Rwanda and proceed to Kigali Airport for their departure flight home.
