Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Gorilla Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After a restful night in the natural surroundings, guests awaken to a stunning sunrise over the misty Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Following breakfast, at approximately 7:45 am, with packed lunches in hand, they proceed to the park offices for registration and a briefing before embarking on the gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Gorilla trekking can be demanding, as it may involve climbing steep hills in muddy conditions, and the duration is unpredictable, depending on the movement of these magnificent apes. Various factors influence the gorillas’ movement, with food availability being a key one, but the activity generally lasts between 2 to 8 hours. Afterward, guests return to the lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
