Transfer from Entebbe International Airport to Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park - Upon arrival at Entebbe, guests will be warmly greeted by their guide and embark on a picturesque 4–5 hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon reaching the park, check in at the lodge and take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Later in the evening, embark on a night game drive, one of the few places in Uganda where this is allowed. With spotlights and a skilled ranger, explore the darkened savanna in search of nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, genets, and bush babies—creatures rarely seen during the day. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Walking Safari & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Kazinga Channel - Begin the day with a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, offering a unique chance to observe wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, and other antelopes up close, accompanied by an experienced ranger. Exit the park and drive to Mbarara for a lunch break. Continue the journey—approximately 2 to 3 hours—to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, providing an opportunity to view large numbers of hippos, elephants drinking at the water’s edge, buffalo, and a variety of bird species, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans. Conclude the day with an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for spotting lions, leopards, and other savanna wildlife as they become more active during the cooler evening hours.

Morning Game Drive & Transfer Back to Entebbe

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Begin the morning with an early game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, a region renowned for its abundant wildlife and expansive savanna landscapes. This area offers some of the best opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and Ugandan kob. Enjoy the drive until around 10:00 AM, then return to the lodge for a quick refresh and checkout. Afterward, start the drive back to Entebbe, which typically takes 6–7 hours. A lunch stop can be made en route before continuing to Entebbe International Airport, arriving in time for the departure flight, marking the end of the safari adventure.
