Murchison Falls - The safari adventure begins with the driver/guide collecting guests from their accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning. The journey involves a scenic drive (approximately 8-9 hours) heading northwest through Luwero and Masindi town. A detour is made to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and a picnic lunch.
Continue to the breathtaking location at the top of the falls, where the Nile’s beauty is at its peak. Witness the Nile narrowing from up to 1 km to squeeze through a 7-meter gorge, dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar, creating a stunning rainbow, a spray plume, and the magnificent Murchison Falls.
Enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge.

Safari Game Drives in Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls - Start the day with a refreshing cup of African coffee, ready for a wildlife game drive, bird watching, and sightseeing across the open savannah, interspersed with woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta.
Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, waterbuck, and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
After lunch, embark on a three-hour boat trip along the Nile, offering a guaranteed view of the Murchison Falls from the base. Wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be observed along the riverbanks.
