Kampala Murchison Falls

Murchison Falls National Park - The journey to the park will commence in the morning, between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. The drive from Kampala takes about 5 to 6 hours, with a stop for lunch along the way. Post-lunch, the trip continues to the park for the day’s first activity—a hike to the top of the falls. This hike, lasting approximately 30 to 50 minutes depending on pace, provides a stunning view of the renowned falls from above.

After the hike, there will be a drive to the park’s savannah area for a brief evening game drive. Weather permitting, a sunset game drive will offer the opportunity to observe the park’s magnificent mammals and other wildlife.

Following the game drive, guests will check in at the lodge for an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - At 6:00 am, guests will enjoy coffee or tea before embarking on a morning game drive and boat trip. A packed breakfast will be provided, to be enjoyed during a break at the hippo pool.

The game drive offers sightings of various animals, including big cats such as lions and leopards, as well as elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes.

After the boat trip, guests will proceed to their second accommodation outside the park, where they can relax by the pool or share their experiences with family and friends.

Rhino Tracking

Rhino Fund Uganda - At 8:00 am, after breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Ziwa for rhino tracking. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, a briefing about rhinos will be provided. The tracking experience will follow, lasting around two hours.

Post-tracking, the journey back to Kampala will continue, with a stop for lunch en route. Upon arrival at the lodge in Kampala, the Murchison and rhino tracking adventure will conclude.
