The breathtaking views of beautifully planted Kyoto original “Uji” green tea fields are frequently featured on Instagram and photography websites as “one of the world’s best views” or “must-see views before you die.” This location is in the countryside of Kyoto Prefecture and is only accessible by car. We park the car so you can immerse yourself in the fields and capture as many photos as you desire in this enchanting setting.
• Ujitawara-cho - One of Japan’s most renowned green tea production areas, where Japanese green tea and Matcha were first created. We stop at a picturesque tea field where you can stroll through a farm and take a magical photo amidst the green tea plantations.
• Shoju-in - Seijuin-Temple is situated in the southern countryside of Kyoto. Although it requires an hour’s drive from downtown Kyoto, it is undoubtedly worth the trip. The temple features a famous heart-shaped window in the tea room, which has gained popularity on Instagram. In this small, 800-year-old mantra-Buddhist temple, you can explore and walk through the historical temple rooms, known for their traditional Japanese style. *Entry fee is 700 yen, and parking is included in the tour!
