Exceeded everyone’s expectations - This was an all-day tour with free hotel pick up starting at 8 am and finishing at 6 pm. It was a really packed itinerary with an excellent English-speaking guide (Patti) that took us through spectacular scenery to the Genghis Kahn monument where we also had a camel ride and a close encounter with an eagle and had some archery practice. On then to a visit to a yurt where we sampled some Mongolian delicacies - not to my taste but a definite experience! More sightseeing of spectacular views, stunning rock formations and a steep walk to a Buddhist temple completed the day. A memorable free lunch was also included. The best paid tour I’ve ever been on. Highly recommended & great value.

Highly interesting - We had a small group. Di told us a lot and showed us. They were activities that were even not advertised in the tour, such as archery, yurts, Monastary visit. What a nice surprise. Great impressions! Thank you so much!

Excellent set of... - Excellent set of activities - some required some physical input but all good at the end - the overall trip lasted more than 10 hours vs 7 advertised. Both D (initial of 1st name) and the lady driver were a super duo and available to answer all our questions. Recommended

Great day with beautiful people! - Excellent trip! Our guides were kind, patient and knowledgeable. We were travelling in two vans. We did more than the itinerary said. We saw the monument ( say yes! to riding camels and try archery - they were included in price), visited national park with the Turtle rock and hiked to the the temple, but also had snacks with Mongolian family in their ger. The family was great - through our guides we learned about their life; they were happy, positive and open-minded people who were happy to share their food with us( the yak cream and dry yogurt, and traditional tea and bread were very delicious- don’t hesitate to try them! ). Lunch stop Was very good as well - plenty of food. Our guide saw that the local archery competition was happening and asked if we wanted to stop and watched - so we had the opportunity to see archers, both men and women, to compete wearing beautiful traditional clothing; not a touristy thing just local people having fun. It cannot recommend this trip enough: it was great day of Mongolian beautiful landscapes and culture. Thank you! ( don’t plan anything in the late afternoon- you might get back later than expected because of the traffic in Ulaanbaatar.)

Company is nothing but liars and scammers - This tour company was absolutely terrible. Disrespectful, incompetent, and rude. While we were waiting to be picked up for our private tour, they scolded us (despite us following their pickup instructions precisely), then left us high and dry, ignoring all calls and messages and then refusing to provide a refund. After that, they had the nerve to lie to the agency through which we booked, saying they had to leave us behind because they had other customers to pick up for the tour – but we booked a PRIVATE tour, for just my husband and I. We provided proof to the agency that Amazing Mongolia was lying to them, and that we’d followed their directions. The company still kept lying, despite the proof. Absolutely do not trust this tour agency. They will refuse to pick you up, then refuse to provide a refund, blaming the customer even when you follow their instructions exactly. AVOID!

Aggressive tour operator - We were harassed by this tour operator subsequent to the trip. The driver dangerously took over a car who had already indicated turning left. One of our group yelled as she thought we were going to crash. The tour company had the audacity to contact us after the tour for "exhibiting aggressive behavior yelling at other passengers... which violates our company's safety regulations and puts everyone at risk". On top of this, some seatbelts were not working properly. The guide was great, but the tour company absolutely wasn't and the driver endangered our group.
