In the Central Square, visitors will see the statue of D. Sukhbaatar, a hero of the 1920s communist revolution, confidently raising his arm towards the statue of Chinggis Khan.
Gandantegchenling Monastery - The tour will then proceed to Gandan Monastery, a popular site for both locals and tourists due to its fascinating religious artifacts and tranquility. It houses an impressive 26-meter-high Buddhist statue adorned with precious stones and gold leaf. If time permits, the National Museum of Mongolia will also be visited.
In the evening, a welcome dinner will be held at a preferred restaurant.

Chinggis Khaan Statue - The group will visit the enormous Genghis Khan statue at Tsonjin Bolog. Standing 40 meters tall, it is built on the site where the legendary leader discovered a golden whip, symbolizing his divine leadership. The statue depicts the Mongolian ruler on horseback, and visitors can climb onto the horse’s head for a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.

Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve - This remarkable area includes mountains, steppe, rivers, lakes, and wetlands, providing a unique and diverse habitat for some of the world’s most endangered species. Rare species such as the White-naped Crane, Siberian White Crane, Hooded Crane, Black Vulture, and Swan Goose can be found here, along with the Whooper Swan, Black Stork, Great White Egret, Bar-Headed Goose, Bearded Vulture, and Eurasian Penduline. It is truly a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
In the mountains, one might spot Argali Mountain Sheep, which are protected here, along with other mammals like the gray wolf, common fox, lynx, wildcat, marmot, and pika.
This is a wonderful place to unwind after the long journey, enjoying the stunning scenery and perhaps embarking on a mini “safari” with one of the park’s rangers to discover some of the amazing wildlife. For those seeking more activity, horse riding, fishing, kayaking, cycling, and archery are available.
Gun Galuut - Ulaanbaatar. (B,L,D)
Tumen Ekh Ensemble - After a leisurely morning, the group will return to Ulaanbaatar, possibly allowing time for some last-minute souvenir shopping. Cashmere, leather goods, and traditional handicrafts are excellent choices, and the guide will suggest the best places to find these.
In the evening, attendees will enjoy a Mongolian cultural performance, a fascinating and must-see experience in Ulaanbaatar, before gathering for a farewell dinner.
