Bayan-Ulgii Province of Mongolia
Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - Fly to Ulgii, and after an early breakfast, drive to Tavan Bogd National Park. Along the journey, discover numerous petroglyphs and Turkic stones, and enjoy a picnic lunch. Bayan-Ulgii is rich in archaeological remains, reminiscent of the Bronze Age and the era of the Huns and Turkic invasions. Arrive at the Ger camp and spend the night in a Kazakh or Mongolian ger.
Tavan Bogd Massif
Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - Today, embark on a horseback ride to explore the glaciers and Tavan Bogd mountains. Tavanbogd means “The Holy Five,” referring to the five highest peaks, with Huiten Uul being the tallest in Mongolia at 4,374 meters above sea level. Witness the 20km long Potanina glacier, the largest of the twenty glaciers in the Mongolian Altai. Overnight in a Kazakh or Mongolian ger. B+L+D

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - Today, drive to the Twin Lake area and set up camp near a nomadic family. The location is just 10km from the China border. Overnight in a Kazakh ger or camp.

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park - Over the next two days (days 5-6), relax and enjoy swimming, fishing, and exploring the stunning mountainous area. Marvel at the snowcapped mountains with forests that form the border between China and Mongolia, and visit some beautiful waterfalls.

Olgiy - Explore Ulgii city. After lunch, arrive in Ulgii city and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy shopping and visit the local market, mosque, and Friendship Peak, where you can view the entire city from the top of the Friendship Mountain.
Flight Back to Ulaanbaatar
Gorkhi Terelj National Park - Fly back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. Drive to Terelj and visit the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue in Tsonjin Boldog. This massive statue, made of 250 tons of gleaming stainless steel, is breathtaking. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way. Return to UB in the afternoon and enjoy dinner at a traditional Mongolian restaurant.
