• Khustain Nuruu National Park - After enjoying lunch, head to Khustai National Park, which is home to a restored population of Przewalski’s wild horses. Although the species became extinct in the wild by the 1950s, a small number of descendants from those originally captured for European zoos and private collections in the late 19th and early 20th centuries were reintroduced to their native land in 1993.
  Today, over three decades later, several hundred wild horses, all born in Mongolia, roam the park, enduring predators and the region’s challenging climate. This initiative has also supported the conservation and breeding of red deer, Mongolian gazelles, wild sheep, and marmots, which are later reintroduced into areas where their populations have dwindled or vanished.
