Nature, food, and company (both human and canine). - This is one of the best hike and overnight camping I’ve ever done! Trolltunga Adventure provides (food, tent) or rents out (gear, poles) everything you need during the hike, which is extremely convenient if you are like me who travelled from afar to hike in Norway. The private tent was warm and clean and I got vegetarian good and snacks. Our group was small (10), a good mix of people from all over the world, all friendly, and fun. The guides (Celine, Damien, Marcus) are very warm people, safety conscious and knowledgeable. Being in a company of people you just met can be intimidating for me sometimes but they all ensured that everyone felt included and supported. They spoiled us with snacks and photo ops during the entire hike. And if you are a dog lover (who isn’t?), you will have the added bonus of trekking with Celine’s lovely and energetic dogs. Everything about this activity is perfect, there’s nothing I would change.

A night I’ll never forget - Absolutely incredible experience. Without doubt my favorite guided hike I’ve ever been on. My guides were knowledgeable, humorous, and full of treats and surprises. The day we hiked, it was quite hot and very sunny, and there was one in our group who was a bit older and needed a hand, and without hesitation our guides (Henric and Viktor) each took turns carrying his pack and patiently hiking with him so the rest of the group could go ahead a little bit. They would not leave a man behind and helped in every way they could to ensure his experience was enjoyable. This meant a lot to me as I’ve been on guided tours where the guides offer no assistance of this type and basically leave people in the dust if they can’t keep up. That was not the case here at all. It was truly beautiful. The campsite was beautiful too, and the food was unbelievable. You get fed three times and each meal is really excellent. Highest quality meals I’ve ever had while camping and it isn’t close. The tents were top of the line. I felt like trail royalty. Henric is a terrific photographer, on top of all of this. I will be framing pictures he took of me. The bonus hike to the original Preikestolen was such a treat as well. What else good can I say about this company? Can I give them 100 stars? I wouldn’t even consider booking with anyone else. Why are you still reading this, go book the camping trip!!! You won’t regret it. I promise. Amazing experience.

First time in Norway - Hiking destination - I recently did an overnight Trolltunga hike and it was unforgettable experience. Largely thanks to our guide, Anker & Victor. Despite challenging rain and wind on the second day, Anker’s energy and positivity kept us all going strong. The planning was flawless, everything was on schedule, and even the food was surprisingly delicious for a camping trip. Anker’s thoughtful gestures, like serving us hot coffee during a storm, made the experience even better. At night when we finished the hike were welcomed with warm dinner and bonfires with hot chocolate/ tea and snacks. Absolutely worth every penny—I highly recommend doing this amazing experience!

Fun and memorable with breathtaking views throughout the hike! - It was flat out, all around amazing. Not only the hike, the views, and the experience, but the three guides in particular. All three were kind, generous, and passionate about their job. They cooked us gourmet food for dinner, and they offered help wherever possible. This was a spectacular, fun, and memorable experience for me, and I highly recommend it for who enjoys and admires the nature, and is up for an excellent choice of hike and camp. Also, the fact that it is a small group it makes it more intimate and friendly, and it gives you a chance to get to know a little about each of your hiking team members. Thank you to all three of our guides, Anker, Magnus, and Hannah.

Incredible experience - We had a great experience with the overnight hike. The first 1-2 hours of the hike are very challenging. Our guides were knowledgeable and stopped for breaks and snacks. The lunch was excellent. I have a nut allergy and they took it very seriously so that I was safe eating on the hike with all the food and snacks provided. The lunch spot is beautiful. The camp was wonderful-warm sleeping bags and great tents. Dinner or reindeer stew was so yummy. Smores and hot chocolate by the fire was a nice touch after dinner. Coffee and oatmeal was brought to the tent in the morning. Big servings and so tasty. We were so impressed with the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Trolltunga without stress!!! - Amazing overnight hike, stopping at Trolltunga without any crowds! Our guides Michael, Sinna and Victor were the BEST! They ensured the pace was reasonable, and there wasn’t any stress making our way through the steep parts and snowy parts. Food was beaut, snacks and the freshest water you’ll ever want. Camp site was spectacular, deer stew delish! We had a comfortable, cozy sleep in our tent. Simply a fantastic experience.

Highlight of the whole trip! - After finding this on Tripadvisor I planned our whole 5 days in Norway around it. This was not easy to get to so if anyone is planning a trip to Norway I highly recommend hiring a car! I read that so many times before I went and stressed because I was not hiring a car - It can be done without one - we tracked down shuttles and buses using the Trolltunga website to make it happen, just make sure you check it all out before hand! The hike itself was amazing - our leaders Emmi and Hedda were more than incredible. They were fun, engaging, so welcoming and did not hurry anyone. The hike is hard but can be done completely at the groups pace. My brother and I got to know the people in our group who were from all over the world and have so many amazing photos. It actually looks as amazing as the photos people!! The only downside for us was the rain on the way down the next day. Emmi and Hedda had prepared lunch, dinner, breakky, snacks and I was woken by a coffee and the incredible view in the morning. Definitely recommend hiking boots and waterproof if you have some made things so much better for me! Do listen to their advice about all the clothing because the weather changes very quickly! Including shorts!
