The dolphins are treated with the utmost respect, and there is no chasing involved. While dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed, there is a strong chance of encountering them during the sail.

Our family-operated business offers a luxurious sailing adventure on traditional Dhow boats. Proudly crafted in Tanzania, we emphasize sustainability in all our operations.
The journey begins in the morning from Kendwa Beach, cruising along Zanzibar’s northern coast towards the nearby island of Mnemba. Upon arrival just before lunch, guests can anchor at a prime location to snorkel while our team prepares a fresh meal on board. With a bit of luck, dolphins may be spotted along the way. Post-lunch, there will be a stop at the Mnemba sandbank for relaxation before returning to Kendwa in the afternoon, perfectly timed to enjoy the sunset with additional snacks and drinks on board.

Our boats are usually anchoring at Kendwa Beach in front of Mano Restaurant and Apa Divers. We are going to be in touch with you the day before planned departure to exchange again about the planned meeting point details.

Mnemba Island full day incl lunch and sunset - Mjumbe, Sultan and Dullah organised the most incredible trip for me and my sister to Mnemba Island.
Dullah arranged transport from the hotel to the dhow in Kendwa. He was right on time, the van is fresh and tidy and he drives safely.
The dhow had many fresh and clean pillows and felt comfortable.
There were more then enough icecold drinks, as well as delicious white wine and beer, which are and all included.
We were chilling in the clear blue ocean while Mjumbe, Sultan and Dullah started preparing a delicious fresh lunch. We ate fresh lobster, vegetable curry, chicken, guacamole, salad and much more.
After lunch we went to Mnemba coralreef to go snorkeling. We saw hundreds of fish in the most beautifull colors. Flippers and snorkling gear is offered by the crew.
After that we started sailing back towards Kendwa where we watched sunset and enjoyed fresh coconut.
We had the most amazing day, one never to forget. The crew is so friendly and doing their best effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Mnemba Island is heaven on earth

Nothing to say! - Everything is perfect, well organized, very well eaten with an incredible view of a turquoissseee blue lagoon and a dive on a coral reef!

Fantastic Mnemba Island Snorkeling with an amazing crew! - We had a wonderful snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island , Captain Mjumbe was professional and experienced, and the crew especially Wendy and Minje were friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. The snorkeling was beautiful, with clear water and colorful marine life, including zebra fish. Everything was well organized and relaxing from start to finish. Highly recommended — a true highlight of our Zanzibar trip!

Unique private Dhow tour with the best crew! - The private Dhow tour was truly amazing and definitely the highlight of our Zanzibar vacation!

An amazing experience! - Best team (Sultan, Wendy, Mjumbe), best vibe. The team was very attentive to our needs and preferences!
Mnemba is a bit overcrowded but they managed to keep us away from the dozens of boats on the sandbank.
The food was also an highlight!

WONDERFUL DHOW TRIP - We discovered Zanzibardhowcompany thanks to a friend in Italy, and we can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of our trip.
From the very first contact on WhatsApp, their approach was kind, clear, and professional: they explained every detail carefully, making us feel we were in good hands.
The excursion begins with a pick-up directly from your hotel. Upon arrival at the beach, the crew welcomed us with open arms, smiling and making us feel immediately comfortable.
The first stop was dolphin spotting – a truly magical experience! I was lucky enough to swim with them, which was incredibly exciting and something I will never forget.
After the dolphins, we headed to Mnemba Island, a real paradise in the middle of the ocean. Unlike the usual crowded tours, we were able to enjoy the place at our own pace, in peace and quiet.
The lunch was delicious: the crew prepared a lovely meal of fresh fish, fruit, and beer/wine. They were so friendly that we even invited them to sit and eat with us – it was a wonderful moment of sharing.
The return was the cherry on top: they turned off the engine and raised the sail. Rocked by the sea, we dozed off, and when we woke up, they had even prepared a small aperitif with snacks for us.
What can we say? An unforgettable experience, highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy Zanzibar in an authentic and special way.
