Setting Sail on a New Adventure

As someone who has spent countless hours riding the waves and exploring the ocean’s depths, I was thrilled to embark on the Dolphin and Turtle Tour in the Unguja North Region. Sunset Serenity on the Dhow

As the day began to wind down, we embarked on a traditional dhow for a sunset sail around Nungwi Beach. The gentle sway of the boat and the sound of live music created a serene atmosphere, perfect for reflecting on the day’s adventures. Although the views were occasionally obstructed by other passengers, the stunning weather and the vibrant hues of the setting sun more than made up for it.

The sail lasted about two hours, with drinks available for purchase and fruit included. As a seasoned traveler, I anticipated getting wet during the boat transfers, so I came prepared with a towel and a change of clothes. This foresight ensured a comfortable ride back to our hotel, where we reflected on the day’s highlights.
