• Laxey - Visit to see the world’s largest operational water wheel, Lady Isabella. Constructed in 1854 to pump water from the mines, the wheel boasts a diameter of 72 feet 6 inches (22.1 m), a width of 6 feet (1.8 m), and rotates about three times per minute.
• Kirk Maughold Church - One of the oldest churches on the Island, Kirk Maughold Church is a site of great historical, cultural, and heritage significance, with elements dating back to the sixth century. The church houses numerous historically significant Celtic crosses from the early Christian era. It was established as a church in the 12th century by Viking King Olaf I.
