  In the afternoon, there is a visit to Leeds Castle, often considered the most beautiful castle in England. This stunning castle, situated in the middle of a lake, was once the residence of medieval Queens of England.
  Following this, choose to visit either Chartwell, the residence of Sir Winston Churchill for over 49 years, or Knole, one of England’s largest private houses, famous for its collection of 17th and 18th-century furniture.
• Leeds Castle - Located in Kent, England, Leeds Castle is situated 5 miles southeast of Maidstone. It is uniquely built on islands within a lake created by the River Len, east of the village of Leeds.
• Chartwell - Chartwell, Churchill’s residence in Kent, is now a historic property maintained by the National Trust. It ranks among their most visited sites. Purchased by Winston Churchill in 1922, it served as his primary base during the 1920s and 1930s for writing, painting, and hosting guests. The property was a financial burden until a group of Churchill’s friends and admirers bought it for the Trust in 1946, allowing Churchill and his wife to reside there for life. Lady Churchill donated it to the Trust immediately after Churchill’s passing in 1965.
