Unforgettable experience - Recommended by a friend, this is an efficient, helpful and responsive agency. We met our guide the day before the tour, which gave us a chance to get to know each other. Saul was very friendly; he adapted to our pace and peppered the tour with historical anecdotes about the site. He even recommended places to go for a drink once we arrived in Aqua Caliente. Beyond the absolutely incredible and extraordinary tourist and cultural experience, it was also a wonderful human meeting.

Amazing Machu Picchu and Inka Trail experience with Domingo - I booked with Machu Picchu Viajes on a recommendation by a Peruvian friend and couldn’t be happier. The whole trip was organised perfectly, I was informed well (including what to bring and what not) and, most importantly, I had the best guide in Domingo. Domingo was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu and the Inka Empire and Peru, but he enthusiastically shared his own insights and experiences as a local guide from Cusco. After two days, i felt like we’d been friends for ages! If you book through Machu Picchu Viajes and you care about a deeper experience than just photos at Machu Picchu, i can only recommend that you ask if Domingo is available!

Incredible Inca Trail & Machu Picchu Experience - A fantastic enlightening slick and professionally managed experience, thanks primarily to our enthusiastic professional guide, Juan Carlos, who went out of his way to ensure maximum historical context and enjoyment to the trip, which was nothing short of spectacular. Everything we imagined it would be and more. He even came to our accommodation high up in the hills above Cusco before we started, to give us a full breakdown of everything to expect, to the finest detail. A fantastic effort all around, highly recommended trip, ask for JC! Seeing Machu Picchu from the Sungate, being able to hike the last day of the Inca Trail into the Citadel, is just beyond words. You will never get the same experience or perspective taking the train to Aguas Calientes and bus to the entrance. So worth it, and so doable. Only 11 km of relaxed walking over an entire day, although you need to be OK with some up-and-down hiking. We took 8 hrs, no time pressure

A dream experience!!! - It is a beautiful experience, from km 104. You get off the train and the guide who accompanies you on the whole itinerary awaits you. If you are lucky and you go with Jorgan, you can know each particularity of the walk and on the second day that also accompanies you the entire history of the citadel. The truth excellent academic knowledge!! Good person, responsible and respectful. The food of the first day very good as well as the restaurant they proposed. Tip: bring just enough and necessary for walking, walking sticks, good trecking shoes, water at least 1.5 liters per person plus some electrolytes. The rest to enjoy. They take care of you with excellence!!!
