AIRPORT PICK-UP - CITY TOUR

AIRPORT PICK-UP - CITY TOUR

2:00 PM Hotel pick-up for the City tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), featuring a 45-minute guided tour.

Sacsayhuaman - After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (Quechua for saqsay = place to be satiated and waman = falcon, meaning “Place where the hawk is satiated”) for a 1-hour guided tour.

Qenqo Chico - Next, we will explore Qenqo, a ritual center in a rocky outcrop, where the mysticism of the place can be felt upon entering the rock formation.

Pucapucara - A 15-minute drive will take us to PucaPucara (Red Fort), a military construction.

Banos del Inca - The final stop is Tambomachay, known as Baño del Inca, where water rituals were performed. We will then return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 PM.

CUSCO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHUPICCHU)

Temple of the Sun - After lunch, we will travel for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site. A 1-hour guided tour will highlight the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces.

Intihuatana Stone - After lunch, we will travel for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site. A 1-hour guided tour will highlight the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces.

Ollantaytambo - Following the guided tour of Ollantaytambo, we will proceed to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night in preparation for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu. (In the evening, the guide will visit the hotel to provide all the details for your Machu Picchu visit.)

MACHUPICCHU

Inca - Early in the morning, we will take the bus to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu), a 30-minute journey. The guide will be waiting upon arrival.

Upon reaching the citadel of Machu Picchu, entry tickets will be shown, and a 2-hour and 30-minute guided tour will commence, providing informative insights about Machu Picchu. Afterwards, there will be free time.

Aguas Calientes - We will then return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch.

Ollantaytambo - After lunch, we will head to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.

At the Ollantaytambo station, a representative from Chullos Travel Peru will be waiting with a sign displaying your names to assist with your transfer back to Cusco and to your hotel.

MORAY - MARAS SALINERAS

Maras - At 8:00 AM, pick-up from the hotel to visit the picturesque town of Maras, offering stunning landscape views en route to Moray, where the agricultural laboratory is located. This site is considered a magnetic center of Pachamama, and a 40-minute guided tour will be provided.

After visiting Moray, a 30-minute drive will take us to the “Salineras” salt mines for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour, with time for shopping for salt bags or souvenirs.

Estimated return time is 2:00 PM.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Mollepata - At 4:00 AM, pick-up from your hotel for a drive to the town of Mollepata, where breakfast will be served.

Humantay Lake - The tour continues to Soraypampa, where a 1-hour and 30-minute hike to the Humantay Lagoon begins. The lagoon is situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level, and along the way, the local flora and fauna can be appreciated.

CLÍNICA MEDICAL CUSCO - We will then descend to Soraypampa to take the transport back to Mollepata for a delicious lunch, followed by a return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 5:00 PM.
