Visitors will learn about the local textile-making process. A master weaver will demonstrate their techniques, detailing each stage from gathering raw materials to washing and dyeing threads with natural dyes. There will also be an opportunity to purchase some of their products after the demonstration.
- Moray - Moray is an archaeological site located about 4.5 miles from Maras and 39 miles from Cusco. Its most remarkable feature is the system of circular agricultural terraces, reaching depths of up to 330 feet. It is believed that the Incas used this site as a laboratory to determine the best conditions for cultivating various crops.
- Salinas de Maras - The tour proceeds with a visit to the Colonial town of Maras and its church, followed by the ancient salt pans. These strategically carved mountainside pools fill with salt water, which evaporates to leave behind crystallized salt, a practice over 500 years old.
- Urubamba - A buffet lunch will be enjoyed here.
- Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - The tour includes a visit to Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca temple and fortress located at the northwestern end of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- Pisac - The tour will explore the breathtaking ruins of Pisac and its colorful local market. This incredible site, with relatively few daily visitors, features various buildings such as plazas, temples, pools, and other structures built between the 10th and 11th centuries AD. It is highly recommended to reserve several hours to fully explore this site. The Inca architecture is impressive, with enormous terraces extending from south to east, covering a vast mountain ranging from 3,000-3,450 masl (9,843 - 11,319 fasl). The palaces and the precise placement of stone blocks are truly remarkable.

A wonderful trip with family thanks to Into Peru - We had a truly amazing time in Peru, we had no idea how to plan everything and are so glad we chose Into Peru to do it for us. We travelled with kids and going down to the sacred valley straight away definitely helped get used to the altitude. We toured all of the sacred valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu private and it was all fantastic.

Into Perú is amazing - Into Perú is a great travel agency. They planned our trip from day 1. We visited Perú and Cusco. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our drivers were always on time. The tour guides were exceptional. They have an amazing team. We went to a Cusco City Tour, to the Sacred Valley and to Machu Picchu. Into Perú, organized all the transportation, hotel stays and the entrance to every place. I definitely recommend them. They did an amazing job.

Big family trip round Lima and Cusco - Our whole extended family (over 20 of us!) did our dream trip to Peru. After a lot of trying to plan everything ourselves we came to the conclusion we just couldn’t manage it so we got Into Peru to help. They took care of all of the planning which meant we could forget about everything but having fun which was priceless.
We toured Lima and Cusco, with a memorable visit to Machu Picchu. Some of our group did the Inca Trail and the rest of us met up with them in Machu Picchu. We all had a fabulous time!
Thank you so much for taking all of the stress out of our trip, your help was invaluable and we loved your restaurant recommendations in particular! The food in Peru is awesome.

Into Peru made our trip faultless - My husband and I spent the most wonderful week touring Peru. We went to Cusco, through the marvelous Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. In the Sacred Valley we visited Maras and Moray, Pisaq and Chinchero. We met many wonderful local people and loved their hospitality.
We took the memorable Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu which was outstanding and then loved our visit to Machu Picchu. We are older now and not as fit as we used to be but our tour guide was so patient and took his time with us.
On our way back from Machu Picchu we stayed at the marvelous Tambo del Inka hotel which is truly faultless and a great place to rest up.
We had Into Peru plan our trip and boy did they do well. We opted for their luxury private service for the two of us and we were treated like royalty! Everyone was fantastic, very punctual and incredibly kind and respectful.
If you are looking for someone to take care of the planning so your trip runs smoothly then I very much recommend Into Peru. They were excellent and gave us a trip that we will never forget.

Impeccable week long trip with Into Peru - We just finished a week long trip through the Sacred Valley and Cusco, culminating at Machu Picchu with Into Peru. We went for their private service in the hope it would be stress free and personalized and it sure was! We left incredibly pleased with the service which helped to heighten the glorious Peruvian sights and scenery. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend visiting Peru, especially Cusco, although Lima and its delicious food were also very memorable. Can not recommend Into Peru highly enough, they were great in every way. Thank you for making our trip perfect!

Great private tour - We booked last minute with Into Peru and were glad we did. We found them on Instagram and liked the look of them. We had a great private tour and enjoyed taking our time and enjoying the peace of the Sacred Valley. Would certainly recommend.

Unforgettable experience in Peru for our family - We had a fantastic trip around Peru with our family, including 2 teenage kids who aren't enthusiastic about much but even they couldn't help but enjoy it. We chose Into Peru for our tours in Peru due to how attentive and quick they were to help with planning and all queries, as well as good feedback and we are glad we did.
We toured around the Cusco and Sacred Valley area and ended with Machu Picchu over 7 days. Our highlights were Machu Picchu (even better than we dreamed it would be) and Cusco, especially just strolling through the beautiful back streets.
We will recommend you to our friends, thank you for making our trip so memorable!
