Inca Trail - 04:10 – 04:15 hrs: Guests are picked up from their accommodation in Cusco and transferred by car to Ollantaytambo.

06:40 – 07:40 hrs: Enjoy a train journey to km 104, where the guide will be ready to commence the Short Inca Trail.

08:00 – 14:15 hrs: Explore the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2250 m), observing local agricultural terraces that supply Aguas Calientes. Begin the hike to Wiñay Wayna, a major highlight of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

14:15 – 15:45 hrs: Trek to Inti Punku (Sun Gate) for a breathtaking first view of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.

15:45 – 16:25 hrs: Continue the hike to Machu Picchu, experiencing the wonder of this historic site.

16:45 – 17:20 hrs: Return to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

19:00 – 20:00 hrs: Enjoy dinner in Aguas Calientes and receive a briefing from the guide for the next day’s Machu Picchu tour.

Machu Picchu

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - 06:00 – 07:00 hrs: Begin the day early by heading to the Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. As some of the first visitors, board the bus to the archaeological complex and relish the first stunning view of Machu Picchu, nestled in the mountains above the Urubamba River.

07:00 – 09:30 hrs: Upon arrival, take a guided tour of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, exploring its most iconic areas. Discover the site’s history, significance, and spiritual beliefs while admiring the remarkable Inca architecture. After the tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes.

14:30 – 16:10 hrs: Board the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.

16:10 – 20:10 hrs: Enjoy a scenic bus ride from Ollantaytambo back to Cusco, concluding the Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu experience.
