As the first rays of dawn kissed the ancient city of Cusco, I found myself eagerly awaiting the start of my Inca Trail adventure with Alpaca Expeditions. The anticipation was palpable, and as a seasoned traveler and environmental advocate, I was particularly excited to explore the rich biodiversity and historical significance of this iconic trail.
