Best private driver for 3 hours in a Cadillac on St Thomas - We used VIPS Virgin Islands Platinum Services during our January 2026 cruise on the Celebrity Beyond, and they were outstanding. We needed a vehicle for six, and hiring a private driver actually cost less than the ship’s excursion. Communication with the owner was fast and clear, with exact meeting instructions and photos of the car, license plate, and driver. Myron picked us up in a spotless Cadillac Escalade and was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Within an hour he felt more like a friend than a chauffeur. He took us to the best viewpoints, stopped whenever we needed, snapped photos for us, shared local history, and even brought us to a beautiful beach where we could get out and walk in the water. He also took us to the top of the island for Bushwackers — a must‑try frozen, chocolatey local drink containing seven different liquors. Through all the twisty St. Thomas roads, we always felt completely safe with him behind the wheel. The three hours flew by, and he dropped us right at the ship. We learned so much about St. Thomas and truly felt like VIPs on that unforgettable day. We’d give Myron 10 stars. Highly recommend VIPS Virgin Islands Platinum Services.

Perfect Tour, Great Value - Amazing, Professional and Everything we could have asked for!!!. From the moment I booked the trip, Adrienne was attentive and communicative. She walked me through the pick up process, asked about our interests and customized our tour special just for us. Our driver Ken was knowledgeable, patient, and engaging. Our group ranged in age from late 50s to 80 years young, with a few mobility challenges. Ken was understanding and very accommodating. We learned so much about the island, its agriculture, history and local foods. Ken’s tour checked every box !!!!

Book for a relaxing informative tour! - We went on this tour not knowing what we wanted to see as it is as customizable as you'd like. Jermaine was our guide and really helped us know what we wanted to see and do for our afternoon. He is local and has a great knowledge of history and important facts that he shared with us throughout the tour. We toured the city while learning about the history, stopped at a shopping area that was way less expensive than most other places, and then went to the mountain top for a banana daquiri before returning to the city for a little more shopping then back to the cruise port. Ask for Jermaine. We loved him!

an amazing day and tour. - What an amazing experience, on time, friendly, extremely knowledgeable of the area and its history. The amazing time we all had was worth twice what we paid. The perfect tour! - AMAZING! After looking through options we decided on the private tour with Luxury Sightseeing. So glad we did. Adrienne was perfect. Right after booking, she reached out. Excellent communications from that point on. As soon as we met Adrienne, it felt like we were old friends. She's so personable and real. She catered to our interests, and what a thorough knowledge of the island.

Personal Tour by Virgin Islands Platinum Services LLC - Adrienne King and KEN - This service is phenomenal! We were on a Norwegian cruise, and my son had researched the Norwegian excursions to St Thomas but began delving into private tours. Virgin Islands Platinum Services LLC, 914-261-1830, led by Adrienne King, was a name that kept popping up. He decided to book this service and we were excited the minute the driver, Ken, picked us up. As requested, he brought a van large enough to accommodate two children in booster seats. The spotless vehicle was roomy, excellent air conditioning, and Ken was nice enough to offer us a cooler of an assortment of cool drinks covered with ice. My husband and I had gotten married at The Frenchman's Reef in 1976 and had never been back to the enchanted island of St. Thomas. Since this was part of our itinerary, we decided that we would like to go and see the resort so many years later. Ken took us to the hotel and told us about some of the renovations that the hotel had undergone and encouraged us to go in and take our time looking around. Ken told us a lot of the history of St. Thomas. We learned about the Arawaks and the Caribs, neither of which any of us had heard of before. We also did not know that St. Thomas was originally owned by Denmark! Ken told us of the notorious Blackbeard's Castle and about details of Fort Christian as we passed by it. My husband lived sixteen years of his life growing up in the nearby island of Puerto Rico, and while there, he consumed a fruit called a canipa there. Ken stopped his car, asked us to wait just a few seconds, got out of the car and came back with some branches. We did not know until he showed us that they grew in St. Thomas and he called them guineps. What a great and unexpected treat! We wanted to snorkel and swim, and had heard of Magen's Bay and a few others, however, our time there was limited and we did not want to swim with the hoards of crowds. Ken took us to Secret Harbour Beach Resort. We were met by employees bringing us lounge chairs (for a minimum charge) and a basket of sand toys for the children. The snorkeling was incredible, we were not inundated by other people and we saw a STINGRAY swimming just a few feet away. At the end of this trip, on our return, my granddaughter wanted to have her hair braided. Ken pulled over at a small shopping area, and we watched as a woman braided her hair. We were running low on time due to this hair thing, and it was so cute watching my son and Ken putting beads on the braids! The car itself is reason enough to give this service the best rating possible. Ken was the cherry on top. This was our favorite part of our cruise! Thank you.
