A single vehicle is required to transport the equipment, as industry standards prohibit rental shops from operating directly on the river. Our location is conveniently just 11 minutes from the river. With years of experience, we have successfully loaded equipment onto every type of vehicle. We use 4”x4” foam blocks to protect your vehicle and professional-grade paddle board straps to secure the equipment to the roof.

This method is completely car-friendly, and to date, not a single customer’s vehicle has been damaged.

We offer boards either pre-inflated (for convenience) or deflated in transport bags.

If you’re traveling with only one vehicle, you can use the Salt River Tubing bus shuttle to return to your vehicle after your trip. The shuttle costs $18, and tickets can be purchased online in advance to save time.

Upon arrival at your reserved time slot, a team member will provide personalized trip advice based on your desired duration on the river and your main interests. Lower Salt Rentals takes pride in offering the classic customer service that is increasingly rare today.

Join us at our shop, where our team will prepare you to explore the Salt River like a local. The area is teeming with wildlife, including wild horses, river otters, bighorn sheep, and a diverse array of bird species. Take advantage of numerous resting spots along the river to pull ashore and enjoy a refreshing swim. The river is classified as a class one river, making it very beginner-friendly. We provide all the expertise, equipment, and tools needed to get you on the water. All you need is a single vehicle and a thirst for adventure – we’ll handle the rest.

Trip durations can range from 1 to 5 hours, depending on your preference. We’ll review a map in the office and assist in selecting a drop-in point that best suits your group.
