Awesome, spectacular, the groups are small enough (max 13 people) that it feels Taylor’s to each person! - The tour was small just my husband and I. Jose our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the canyon, how it was formed, the surrounding vegetation and the Navajo nation and beliefs! He made the tour come alive!

Visit Waterholes. You won't be disappointed. - As it turned out, my wife (the photographer) and I (the tag along) were the only ones one the tour. We had hiked a different part of the canyon years ago on our own and were surprised to see how beautiful the part on the east side of Highway 89 is. I would highly recommend this tour instead of Lower or Upper Antelope. Sure, they may have a few spots that are more photogenic, but they have become too crowded. Our guide was Shane. He was very knowledgeable about the canyon and cameras, and even better, was able to tell us a lot about Navajo customs and beliefs and tell us some of their stories. Because this was a photographers tour, it did cost a little more, but was well worth the extra.

Spectacular!!! - Absolutely fabulous!!! Our guide, Shane, is Navajo and was exceptionally informative and knowledgeable. The slot canyons, there were three, were not to be believed. Shane took myself and my husband and explained the geology and the topography, Navajo traditions, Governance, education and customs, played a traditional instrument and all while walking through breathtaking scenery. We didn’t see another person. It was a 2 mile walk through three slot canyons. Shane explained all about the affect of rain, flash flooding, and the ladder system used to make the hike super easy and enjoyable. Both Shane and the driver were very affable and personable offering to assist, take photos, and answer every question. If you want a spectacular and non-touristy easy walk in the slot canyons, take the trip!
