Our kayak rentals offer 90 minutes to explore the La Jolla Ecological Reserve at your leisure. All necessary equipment is provided, along with a safety briefing to inform you of the permissible areas. Simply check in at our shop 30 minutes before your reservation, and your kayaks and paddles will be ready for you at the beach!

While kayaking around the ecological reserve, guests may encounter a variety of marine life. You might spot different species of fish, birds, seals, sea lions, dolphins, and even whales, depending on the season. Additionally, you will enjoy stunning views of the beautiful town of La Jolla from the water and take in the breathtaking scenery!
For those new to kayaking, we suggest trying our guided tours first.
Please note that kayak rentals are not allowed in the Sea Caves. All guests must be comfortable swimmers to kayak independently. Participants must be at least five years old to join the activity.
