Best place in the world to kayak or paddle ~ Marsh and Eagle! - Had an amazing time and had no idea this place existed! Saw oyster beds for the first time and even a bald eagle. This is a hidden gem!

Amazing Staff & Scenery — Highly Recommend! - ‏ I had an amazing experience paddle boarding at the lakes in Jacksonville, but what truly made it unforgettable was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff — especially Buddy. A few days ago, I lost my phone in the water, and Buddy went above and beyond to help me look for it. He was incredibly patient, supportive, and genuinely cared about helping us recover it. Thanks to him, we eventually found the phone, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to paddle and amazing people to guide you, this is the place. Huge thanks to Buddy for turning a stressful moment into a positive memory!

Lovely stretch of river - We enjoyed a kayak for two on this lovely stretch of river, with some awesome birdwatching in late March. It was a very windy day, but the winding river provided good shelter most of the time. The shore team took our walk-in and launched us promptly, and dug in with us on return to figure out a particularly exciting avian flyover.
