• Key Largo Dive Center - Begin with check-in and a review of the included e-learning materials. Get fitted for your gear before heading to the pool for the confined water segment of your training. This is followed by open water dives in the afternoon on the first day, and additional open water dives in the morning on the second day. It is advised not to schedule other activities during your training period.

• Use of SCUBA equipment

In 2026, Key Largo Dive Center proudly received seven awards from Scuba Diving Magazine for excellence in quality, safety, and service. The team is among the most experienced in the nation, boasting decades of scuba expertise. As a PADI 5-Star Dive Center, it is conveniently located at the Bayside Inn Key Largo Resort.

On the first day, participants will review the PADI e-Learning completed prior to arrival. Following this, they will join their instructor for a morning of confined water training in the pool. The afternoon will be dedicated to beginning open water dive training. On the second day, participants will board the center’s boat to complete their open water dive training. Unlike many other scuba training providers, Key Largo Dive Center owns a large custom dive boat, allowing full control over all dive training sites.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive the PADI Open Water Diver Certification, enabling them to dive with a buddy without the need for an instructor’s presence.
