An Interactive Aquatic Adventure for All Ages! Upon entering the Encounter, visitors will step into a tropical rainforest and meet rescued macaws and parrots. As the journey continues towards the Bay, there will be opportunities to engage with some of nature’s most incredible sea creatures, including the Mantis Peacock Shrimp, and explore a freshwater exhibit revealing the wonders beneath local springs. The exhibitions feature two touch tanks – one filled with sea stars and urchins, and the charmingly named Ray Bay! Here, a variety of friendly stingrays will glide up for a gentle touch. The adventure concludes in front of an 18,000-gallon Caribbean Saltwater Aquarium, where mermaids might make an appearance! Be sure to visit the gift shop for some fantastic treasures!
