We venture to Horseshoe Crab Island to witness the sunset in this paradise. Explore the island with your group and make new friends. Take the opportunity to stroll along the sandbar, searching for wildlife like horseshoe crabs and bioluminescent comb jellies. Scoop the water in your hands and watch as the brilliant stars emerge! Enjoy a brief swim in the bioluminescence and create your own “glow angels.”
Once the sun has set, the bioluminescent magic begins. The vibrant colors of bioluminescence are indescribable. Fish illuminate with an ethereal blue as they swim beneath your paddleboard or kayak. It’s an enchanting experience.
This adventure lasts 2 hours from start to finish, with 1.5 hours guaranteed on the water.

As the sun sets, our welcoming guides will take you on an incredible evening adventure, either by clear kayak or paddleboard, on the Lagoon. You’ll also have the opportunity to wade in shallow waters and engage with the bioluminescence.

Early Tour Time: Sunset & Bioluminescence Tour
As the sun sets, our welcoming guides will take you on an incredible evening adventure, either by clear kayak or paddleboard, on the Lagoon. You’ll also have the opportunity to wade in shallow waters and engage with the bioluminescence.
Keep an eye out for stingrays and other marine creatures like dolphins and manatees as the sun goes down.
Once the sun has set, we’ll continue paddling into the night, where the water and fish beneath us are illuminated by the glow of dinoflagellates.
Later Tour Time: Bioluminescence & Stargazing
During this tour, the darkness of the night allows the stars to shine brilliantly against the sky, while the bioluminescence glows beneath us. We suggest downloading a stargazing app to help identify the constellations above.

When the dinoflagellate bioluminescence season concludes, the comb jelly bioluminescence season begins! At that time, you’ll also receive high-powered, multi-colored LED lighting systems for your vessel to enhance the glowing experience.
