Great Day of Bikes, Kayaks, and Beer - We started off with a leisurely bike ride to tour two breweries (Right Brain and The Filling Station). The beers were great at both, and the flatbread pizza that we got at The Filling Station was fantastic. After lunch we traded our bikes in for kayaks and cruised down the Boardman River to visit two more breweries (Rare Bird and Workshop Brewing). The beers were great across the board. We finished up by paddling to Sunset Park Beach where we were met by folks from The River Outfitters. They loaded up our kayaks and drove us back to our car. Truly a fantastic day in Traverse City, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

Girls Trip! Lots of fun! - My friends and I had the best time. It was the highlight of our trip. Tawny and Johnny were wonderful. I would recommend to anyone going to Traverse City to do this! :)

Awesome Time! - Scott the owner was great, super nice guy. We did the bike and kayak tour. Easy bike ride around the lake and short kayak trip to the river area. Lots of fun and also part challenge. Its all about the adventure. Highly recommend!

Lots of fun! - 6 of us set out in a group of 8 with our guide John in the lead. An easy bike trip (only two hills) around the lake led us to our first stop at Right Brain Brewery. Very cool place with a ton of beverages on tap - loved it. John gave us the option of kayaking or biking there and since the wind had picked up we choose the latter. We then biked a short distance to the Traverse City Whiskey Co to sample some distilled treats and possibly a few local cherries which were yummy. Next stop was lunch and a brew at the Filling Station (excellent pizza). Kayaking was next on our adventure and we all jumped into paddle our way across the lake and into the Boardman River. A short stop to watch huge fish jump then off to walk by the Fish Weir and to our last brewery. John was very accommodating and always gave us options so the group could choose our trip. An interesting way to see and experience Traverse City - would definitely do this again.

Girls Trip - What a great time we had!! The whole operation was great - from rescheduling our day due to weather, to all the logistics and our guide Fisher and all our stops as well as the biking and kayaking we had a blast!! Highly recommend this tour!!

Kayaking, biking, and brews - what's not to like - We actually did the self-guided tour and the staff at Rivers Outfitters is fantastic to work with. They provided maps, tips, and clear instructions for switching from biking to kayaking. We had a great time on our trip, would definitely do it again.

Excellent time - Check ahead if you want to go with a group, there was none so I did a self guided tour which I enjoyed immensely. You call them when you need to exchange bike for kayak and when you’re done. Bike path was beautiful and kayak path was a fun urban paddle. Beware that you have to lift and drag the kayak around a dam at one point and the kayak is quite heavy.

Great way to see the city and try out out some beer - This was a great investment. Exploring TC on a bike and kayak was a great way to see the city. We were able to check out a bunch of cool breweries throughout the city. We got super lucky too and had great weather. Lot of fun and totally worth it.
