Visitors will gather at the Madison Stitch fashion studio in downtown Kansas City to explore the city’s rich history in the fashion industry. They will meet the individuals who are revitalizing the city’s role in the industry and review a variety of products available for purchase, learning about their creation process. Participants can then choose to craft a pair of earrings, bracelets, or a small card wallet. Wine will be served from local artisan crafters located just a short distance from the studio! Water will be available for guests of all ages.
The activity will last approximately an hour; afterwards, guests can stroll 1-2 blocks to visit their choice of artisan brewers, distillers, or restaurants in Kansas City’s vibrant arts district.
