ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Usa River - Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, guests will receive a warm welcome from their driver-guide. After a brief introduction, they will be offered bottles of mineral water and enjoy a private transfer to their hotel or lodge in Usa River for dinner and an overnight stay. Depending on the arrival time, there will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the hotel’s surroundings.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast in the morning, guests will head to Tarangire National Park for exciting game drives and wildlife viewing. Tarangire is Tanzania’s third-largest national park and a sanctuary for a notably large elephant population. The game drives may reveal lions, giraffes, wildebeest, elephants, zebras, and much more. Lunchboxes will be provided by the driver-guide. After the game drives, guests will exit the park and proceed to their lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK VIA NGORONGORO AREA

Serengeti National Park - Today, guests will depart the lodge with packed lunches and travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The driver-guide will stop at some beautiful viewpoints overlooking the crater floor for sightseeing. Animals such as giraffes, elephants, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, lions, buffaloes, and cheetahs may be spotted in Ngorongoro. Upon crossing the border, picnic lunches will be served, followed by game drives en route to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Olduvai Gorge Museum - Guests may also choose to visit the Olduvai Gorge site for a museum tour. This archaeological museum preserves the remains and evidence of early humans discovered by Dr. Leakey and Mary Leakey. Additional information will be available at the museum.

FULL DAY GAME DRIVES IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti National Park - Game drives can be conducted in central or northern Serengeti, or both, depending on the migration patterns. The itinerary is flexible and can be tailored to guests’ preferences. The guide will discuss the best timing for game drives and wake-up times. Options include a morning game drive with a return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, followed by an afternoon game drive, or a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. The Serengeti Park, named from the Maasai language meaning “endless plain,” spans 14,763 sq km and is home to numerous animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. During migration, millions of wildebeests and zebras mingle, followed by predators. The professional guide will ensure guests have the best experience enjoying these phenomena. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

FULL DAY GAME DRIVES IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti National Park - This day is dedicated to thrilling game drives in search of favorite animals and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Serengeti savannah plains. Birdlife is abundant, with sightings of ostriches, Kori bustards, starlings, secretary birds, shrikes, and more. The day will be filled with excitement and many memorable moments.

SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Each day in the Serengeti brings new and amazing experiences. After breakfast, guests will leave the camp with packed lunches for another unforgettable day heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a great opportunity to explore the Serengeti ecosystem further, with a chance to spot animals not seen in previous days. Lunchboxes are included.

GAME DRIVES NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

Ngorongoro Crater - Early in the morning, after breakfast, guests will leave the camp with packed lunches for another exciting day. The expert safari guide will lead them into the Ngorongoro Crater for wonderful game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th wonder of the natural world, covers 102 sq. miles with 2,000 ft high walls, resembling a Noah’s Ark. It is home to nearly every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare and endangered black rhinos. Other animals that may be seen include elands, lions, waterbucks, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, African elephants, buffaloes, secretive leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and many more, alongside hundreds of bird species such as Maasai ostrich, Kori bustard, ibis, starlings, etc. Lunchboxes will be served at the picnic point inside the crater. Later, guests will ascend the crater walls and drive to Usa River for dinner and an overnight stay.
