Cute, fun and instructive - The current railway is the heir to the well-known prisoners' train. It began operating in 1909 until 1952, but then, the company Tranex Turismo S.A. decides to revive the legend by creating the famous End of the World Train, which makes the last 8 kilometers of the original route (formerly 25 km). The rail line of the End of the World Train is 500 mm, 100 mm less than the original. Along the way they tell all the train histria and Ushuaia

Perfect! - Lovely people, an old story, and that feeling of actually living inside it. Being on a train is already magical and of course, delicious food! ♥️

Beautiful Train Ride! - Beautiful day for a train ride! Two hour ride out and back (you can get off at the National Park station, just make sure you have a pre-arranged ride, there were a couple of taxis available). Recorded information via supplied headphones was informative about the history of the railway and Ushuaia prison. Staff was very friendly and courteous, speaking Spanish and English. They do say no drinking or eating while onboard but nearly ever was enjoying a snack and their “Mate” with no hassle from the staff.

Would recommend it - We believe it’s a must - great get around the park and it uncovers a very interesting piece of history. However, note that it’s very relaxed, takes only a few hours - definitely touristy - and you can easily combine it with another activity (we did the Esmeralda hike right after!).

Panoramic views on the End Of The World train 🌞⭐ - It is very quaint where you buy your ticket, and within there is also a shop and restrooms. This was a wonderful journey through the Nature park, and it was good to listen to the history and all about the prisoners. Each section within a carriage holds six people, so it can be crowded. The train stops in which you have the chance to get out and see the sites. It is great to say I've been to the end of the world 😊

Train from the end of the world - Very interesting tour bought by Decolar. The bus takes you to the hotel, passes through the lakes where you go down to take pictures and then leaves to leave you on the End of the World Train. At the entrance you get headphones and in the wagon choose the language to hear the history of the train a of the city of Ushuaia.

Underwhelming - Not as advertised. The entire trip was very underwhelming. Dont believe what you see on instagram and tiktok. Nothing really to see other than a small waterfall

Not worth it - I had to do the tour because I was with a group where everyone had booked it, I had to agree with those who had advised me against it. 65,000 ARS for an hour in which you do not see much more than you already saw when entering the National Park, it can be interesting the explanation of the audio guide in different languages in which the history of the railway and the place is illustrated. Cloying the ritual of the souvenir photo with the fake prisoners before boarding the train, photos that are then sold at the next stop ('rite' that delayed the departure of the train by more than 15 minutes)

Save your money and skip this tourist trap - Tourist trap from the moment we arrived at the train station. Not worth the price of the ticket when they pack you like sardines into these tiny rail cars. It is painfully slow, which I think is done on purpose to give you the impression of getting your money’s worth. The saddest part is there is nothing scenic about the ride. For the majority of it, you are just staring at trees in a forest. There are no awe inspiring vistas or scenic overlooks. Save your money and skip this.
