Mirador Del Valle Carbajal - The tour begins with a bus departure from Ushuaia, traveling along National Route No. 3 after collecting passengers from their hotels. As the Beagle Channel fades into the distance, the majestic Mounts Olivia and Five Brothers come into view. The journey continues through the Carbajal Valley, known for its vast peat bogs, which are commercially utilized. Along the route, various valleys can be seen on both sides, where winter activities such as husky sledding, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling take place.
-
3005 Moto Cafe - The tour proceeds to the Haruwen Winter Center, renowned for its snow sculpture festival and home to the world’s southernmost gin craft distillery. Visitors can learn about the production process and participate in an optional tasting. Adjacent to this is a small museum dedicated to antique motorcycles, honoring the pioneers of Patagonia’s routes.
-
Mirador Del Valle Carbajal - Upon reaching the highest point for crossing the Andes mountain range in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, the tour arrives at the Garibaldi Pass. This is the only location in the country where crossing the Andes does not involve crossing a border, as it remains within the national territory. The panoramic viewpoint offers breathtaking views of Escondido and Fagnano Lakes, set against the backdrop of the Andean Patagonian forest, a landscape of remarkable beauty.
-
Escondido Lake - The journey continues along the route, passing by the Bronzovich sawmill, a significant and active site on the shores of Lake Escondido.
-
Lago Fagnano - The tour reaches Lake Fagnano, where visitors can disembark to appreciate the vastness of the lake, one of South America’s largest, stretching over 100 km in length and 7 km in width. On the return to Ushuaia, there is a stop at a winter resort for lunch, featuring a local specialty: El Cordero Fueguino a la estaca (lunch not included).
