The best guide Mauro - Tremendous day at the Emerald Lagoon! Our guide Mauro was 11/10!!! Teaching us about the place, nature, your experiences and recommendations for other tours. Lunch at the shelter was an unforgettable experience. Easy day for people of all levels and ages. We hope to return to Ushuaia soon and meet other places hopefully with expert Mauro. Great experience! - Great experience! Our guide Diana was extremely knowledgeable. The lunch was amazing and being able to stay by the lagoon and warm up is a great plus. Would recommend 100%!

Wonderful!!! - Excellent walk where the Laguna is the reward of the trail. The support of experienced guides with rest in the refuge where we had a meal with right to wine is a differential of them!!!

Recommended guide in Laguna Esmeralda - I joined the Laguna Esmeralda trek with Lucas and had an amazing experience. From the very beginning he made everyone feel comfortable, especially foreigners who were new to Ushuaia’s trails. He explained the route clearly, set a good pace for all fitness levels, and always checked whether we were okay along the way.
What I appreciated most was how knowledgeable he was about the area—plants, wildlife, the history of the region—and he shared everything in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. He was also incredibly friendly and approachable, which created a very relaxed atmosphere within the group.
The trail itself can be muddy and challenging at times, but Lucas guided us through the tricky parts patiently and safely. Thanks to him, the whole trek felt enjoyable rather than exhausting. Reaching the lagoon with his guidance made the experience even more special.
Overall, Lucas is a fantastic guide. Friendly, attentive, and passionate about what he does. I’d definitely recommend doing Laguna Esmeralda with him.

Pleasant, low-difficulty hike to beautiful Laguna Esmeralda - We had a great experience hiking with Carlos. Pickup was on time in a comfortable minibus. The hike was at a leisurely pace. Carlos was always making sure everyone in the group was comfortable. Lunch at their done was nice and the return hike was easy. We came well equipped with proper waterproofed hiking boots and pants/coat. This was important and made a huge difference since the trail was very muddy and slippery. If you take this (or any other hike in Ushuaia), do yourself a favor and closely follow the operator's recommendations regarding what to wear and what to bring along - especially waterproof mid/high hiking boots!
