• Ushuaia - Departure from the hotel. The journey begins on National Route No. 3, which traverses a section of the Fueguina mountain range.
• Tierra Mayor - Arrival at the Nunatak cabin, situated in the Husky Park winter center within the Greater Land Valley. Here, restrooms are available, and the guide will provide instructions for the walk. The trekking adventure then commences.
• Laguna Esmeralda - After a 2-hour walk, arrival at the Emerald Lagoon. There is a 1-hour break for lunch by the lagoon’s edge, allowing time to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Following the break, the return trek to the Nunatak cabin takes approximately two hours.
• Tierra Mayor - Return to the Nunatak cabin, with time allocated for restroom use.
• Ushuaia - The day concludes with a return to the hotel, marking the end of an exhilarating and memorable experience.

An extraordinary walking experience.

Begin the journey from the hotel by minibus, traveling 20 km to the Tierra Mayor valley. Starting at the Nunatak refuge, the walk takes you through peat bogs, streams, and ancient forests of Lengas and Coihues. There is always a chance to see foxes, condors, and beavers. The Emerald Lagoon, nestled in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Nature and Landscape Reserve, captivates with its vibrant waters and stunning location within the Fuego mountain range, inviting a pause to relax and enjoy lunch by its shores. The return to the shelter follows a different route, leading back to the hotel.
