- Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego - Located approximately 7 miles from the city, along the renowned channel once navigated by Charles Darwin, you will arrive at Tierra del Fuego National Park (entrance fee not included).
- BahĂa Ensenada - In the summer, enjoy a coastal or high pampa walk (choice depends on terrain and weather conditions). Over a distance of about 7 km (4.4 miles), observe the rich flora and birdlife of the Beagle Channel or the Fuegian forest. Pause to admire the famous Beagle Channel at Ensenada Bay and take in stunning views of Redonda, Hoste, and Navarino islands, as well as remnants of ancient YĂĄmana settlements, indigenous to the region.
During the winter, choose between a scenic walk through the beautiful Valley of RĂo Pipo or a ride on the âEnd of The Worldâ train for an hour (Train ticket not included). The Shore Path is closed in winter, so the journey continues by vehicle to Acigami Lake, Green Lagoon, Ovando River, and BahĂa Lapataia, with short hikes through snow or ice-covered paths to explore its marvels.
- Lago Roca - Embark on a 3-hour moderate hike in summer, or a 2-hour easy hike in winter, to reach Acigami Lake (also known as Roca Lake). Near the Lapataia River border, enjoy a warm lunch with a spectacular panoramic view from a heated dome-tent, sheltered from wind or rain.
After lunch, participants will gear up for an exhilarating 1-hour paddle from Acigami Lake down the Lapataia Riverâs freshwater in inflatable canoes (duckies). Depending on the groupâs physical condition, you may reach the sea at Lapataia Bay (canoeing is weather-dependent).
- Ushuaia - Conclude the tour with a return drive to your hotel in Ushuaia.
Notes: The inflatable boats typically accommodate up to 9 people plus the guide. Schedules are approximate and may change due to adverse weather. Summer tour duration: 7/10 hours, trekking: 3 hours. Winter tour: 6/8 hours, trekking: short hikes totaling no more than 90 minutes. Canoeing difficulty: low
