After sterling this tour we will drive through the southernmost city in the world and the only one in Argentina located between the mountains and the see. We will know its history and culture, stopping at scenery spots for taking the best pictures. Then we head to the National Park where we visit lakes, lagoons, streams, rivers and having enough time to stop at a cafeteria located in the middle of the forest for a snack.

Juan has lots of insight... - Juan has lots of insight that helped us understand all that the National Park had to offer. He tried his best to communicate in English and we could understand almost everything he said.

5 Hour Tour - Wow. What an epic day. We had a private 5 hour tour booked. Our tour guide, David, showed up at 8am. We were going to all the sites in town and beyond. As we were driving my husband said he wanted to do helicopter tour but wasn’t sure if this would be possible. David made it possible. Within 3 hours we were on a helicopter. Our guide went beyond what was expected and we most certainly appreciated it! I highly recommend you book a tour with David, our new friend!

Like touring with a knowledgeable friend - Juan was a great guide. Exactly where he said he would give and considerate in getting the car, providing local snacks and water. Like having a knowledgable friend show you his town and region. The roads are bumpy but he did his best. We asked for frequent restroom stops and he did just that. I wanted a great empanada so he took us to his favorite shop. My husband had a tiny misshapen and Juan was very responsive. A lovely way to see the park and Ushuaia.

Outstanding Driver - Juan was a wealth of knowledge on everything Ushuaia - history, plants, animals, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and he kept us away from crowded buses. So we got to enjoy our time with the sounds of nature and moving at our own pace. Wish we had more time to spend in Ushuaia. We would definitely request Juan again.

Excellent choice to explore Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia - We booked a private tour to accommodate our request for pickup from Ushuaia port and drop-off at the airport. The owner, Edgardo, maintained excellent communication from start to finish, demonstrating great flexibility and consideration for potential ship arrival delays. Our tour guide, Juan, was outstanding. During the 5h private tour, we explored the highlights of the national park, took several short walks, and visited key spots in Ushuaia. Calaio Viajes y Turismo was the perfect choice for us in Ushuaia!

David is AMAZING!!! Totally worth it. Private is the way to go!! 100% - I had the absolute pleasure of touring Tierra del Fuego National Park with David while in Ushuaia, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. We started early in the morning and beat the crowds, which made for a truly magical experience—what better way to greet the earth than to be in the park as it slowly wakes up?
David is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and he took the time to answer all my questions with patience and insight. I was able to walk some trails on my own, take in the stillness, and really connect with the land. He’s a warm-hearted family man and a very safe driver, which made me feel completely at ease throughout the day.
What stood out most is how adaptable and generous he is—he truly tailors the experience to you. We ended up planning another outing together, and he took me to an amazing seafood lunch at El Frontón in Puerto Almanza. He never rushed me, let me take all the photos I wanted, and even stayed in touch during my time in Ushuaia to offer advice and suggestions on things to do.
David started the day as my guide and ended as a friend. If you’re heading to Ushuaia, do yourself a favor and book time with him—you won’t regret it.

Such a great experience in Tierra del Fuego!! - We had an ahhhhmazing time with Juan our guide. He was so knowledgeable of the park and took us to sooo many great places where we could hike. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. He was so accommodating!! We would highly recommend this tour!!
