Recently, Vanilla Prod’s shop has opened its doors to the public, inviting enthusiasts to learn about the cultivation of Tahaa vanilla. Visitors can explore their plantations and products through a guided tour led by the owners. During the flowering season, guests can witness the “wedding” (pollination) of vanilla flowers.

On site, visitors can discover typical local products such as honey, vacuum-packed vanilla, vanilla essence, and artisan monoi. These items are available for purchase, ensuring everyone finds something delightful.

This experience is highly enriching for both enthusiasts and novices.

• Boutique Mana’o - The “Mana’o” rum factory is renowned on the island for its award-winning alcoholic beverages. Visitors can explore and taste a variety of rums, gins, and other spirits crafted by this distillery.

The tour includes a guided exploration of the sugarcane juice production and the entire rum-making process, highlighting various flavors and aromas. Here, visitors can also purchase local products such as spirits, infused juices, and more.

Additionally, a paid minibar is available for guests to refresh and sample the house’s unique creations.

• Ia orana pearl farm - Pearl farms in French Polynesia are a must-see attraction. The Orana Pearl Farm offers visitors the chance to discover and understand the pearl creation process using mother-of-pearl, explained in detail by the on-site hostess. Occasionally, demonstrations are available, especially during weekdays.

Ia orana pearl farm also features a jewelry store where visitors can purchase exquisite gifts or souvenirs from Tahaa.
