- Ballena Bay - Departing from Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, the tour will pass the renowned Punta Uvita, also known as Whale’s Tail, and continue through Bahia Ballena and Bahia Uvita for about 1.5 hours en route to Cano Island. During the journey, guests should stay alert for the exciting possibility of spotting dolphins and whales, depending on the season.
- Cano Island - Located on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, Caño Island is a Marine Biological Reserve that captivates with its rich marine life. Visitors can encounter turtles, manta rays, stingrays, barracudas, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, white-tip reef sharks, and moray eels. The deep blue waters, protected coral reefs, and stunning rock formations filled with colorful fish are truly breathtaking. Guests can dive into this underwater paradise, snorkel, and swim to experience this remarkable ecosystem. Typically, there are two snorkeling sessions lasting 30-40 minutes each.
- Playa San Josecito - After exploring Cano Island, the tour returns to the mainland, heading to San Josecito Beach or another local beach for lunch, depending on time and conditions. Lunch usually consists of a traditional Costa Rican meal of chicken and rice with fresh fruit, followed by leisure time on the beach.
- Bahia Drake - The journey continues with a cruise across Bahia Drake, passing along the Costa Ballena.
- Playa Ventanas - The tour then proceeds back along the coast. Depending on time and conditions, it may pass by Playa Ventana and other notable landmarks on the return to Marino Bahia Ballena National Park.
- Parque Nacional Marino Ballena - Upon returning to Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, guests will disembark and head back to our property for departure.
